This year’s Annual Benefit has been transformed into an online virtual party! Even though the in-person live event has been canceled, the show must go on and fun must be had. 

100% of funds raised will support the financial aid program at the Waldorf School of Philadelphia. Many of our families are impacted economically by COVID-19 and there’s never been a better time to support our school and our families. 

Help raise funds for the Waldorf School of Philadelphia from the comfort of your own home! Online bidding on our incredible silent auction items will begin on Friday, May 1st. There will be an opening party on Saturday, May 2nd when we will come together virtually to celebrate our school and a closing party on Saturday, May 16th. 

This is a whole family fun event and we encourage your friends and family to join in too! We appreciate everyone who has contributed to making this event such a success - especially our generous sponsors and donors. Thank you! 

** Important information - new legislation now in effect as part of the Relief for Individuals, Families, and Businesses **

Charitable deductions are no longer limited to 50% of a donor’s Adjusted Gross Income (AGI) during 2020. During 2019, donors could only deduct 50% of their AGI as charitable deductions; now donors can deduct 100% in 2020. For example, if your AGI is $200,000, you can now deduct $200,00 as a charitable deduction. Donors should consult their individual tax advisors. 

Corporate donations can now be deducted up to 25% of the corporate taxable income in 2020. Previously charitable deductions by corporations were limited to 10% of taxable income.

Individuals can deduct $300 of charity without itemizing. If you were planning to buy tickets to the live event, The Beekeeper’s Ball, you can give a contribution of $300 instead and you can take that deduction even if you do not itemize deductions in 2020.
